Just a quick question, with what and how are you guys making your animated gif's? I've never really needed to before, so I've got no clue.

I use Photoshop. I'm not really sure what else you can use, though. Try looking around on Google. You never know what you might find.

A lot of people just keep going on about GIMP. So it must be a possible candidate for .gif making.

My school required every student to purchase Macromedia Suite MX back in the day, so I'm using Fireworks MX.

PS and IR is how I do it. But you could try Gimp.
