I honestly wouldn't recommend my faction for you to use, it's complete shit and I don't think you would want to waste your time photoshopping some of it just to make them fit, it's best if you just take the beautiful ones that has a matching scale with starsector

You can color the sections first then proceed with shading

You could try the post above me and then expand on it, same core different designs, then incorporate what you learn to a really really new one, as in from scratch.

It actually looks decent, just needs a little cleaning up and then they are perfect.

I suggest for you to lurk a bit more, look at majicnanas's stock ships for ideas and you'll get what I'm trying to tell you and what it lacks, the 2nd one though has an interesting but conflicting shapes, points for trying.
