Re: Something rather large

I'm only really going to comment on the Nightmare, its a absolutely amazing ship no question. But, those 2 thick red doodad like bits, seem a bit to glaring, some minor shading and toning down the intensity would be perfect for it.

They're ok for a first timer and as already mentioned try your hand at the SWA sections. Also.. the harriot, is that inspired by the stargate Daedalus by any chance?

Cool ship, and how to fix those issues. Go to options in the ingame menu (not shipmaker) and click colors until you get to glow then set it to all black.

Edit: welcome to the forums! :)

Could a possible drive be a nuclear fusion one? Also, maneuvering thrusters could be a nice addition as they could boost a ships turn rate and a small increase to speed.

The Astarte is a nice ship, though I have a bit of a quirk with it. . . The amount of side bits in comparison to the overall length of the ship seems to great to me, also the change in the amount of grey also seems a little to strong, from the light grey to the dark grey. Though the other ship seems...

Looks pretty, nice its hard to make out the section work because of 1 constant color, you can make this better by showing "depth" by making the lower sections darker and adding some more shades since you mainly seem to only use 1 color more colors could greatly benefit it by discerning sec...

Whoa. I'm seeing some mad skills in the ability to make tanks. I really like how you show the layers. First some basics. If you're posting a ship here, unless you state otherwise, you are seeking commentary of some sort. We will assume you want constructive critics. If you only want a pat on the ba...

Im not entirely clear when the last 2 levels will be implemented, and SW is just a different style of sections, that was originally made by ShipWrightArms, and to convert them you use Kaelis's converter tool the Shipwrightizator

And welcome to the forums :D (don't be a idiot) :P

From looking at the ship, I think a good part of the clutter comes from those armor plates (?) If they are armor plates. . . So I would suggest perhaps adjusting the plates or removing some/ combining some to give the illusion of not as much clutter. THough the ship to me looks like a big rectangle ...
